In April, EE Director Alison Murdoch travelled to New Zealand and Australia for a series of workshops, presentations and meetings. Her first stopover was in Nelson on the beautiful South Island of New Zealand, where she facilitated their first 16 Guidelines Introductory Workshop.

In Adelaide and Sydney she facilitated two Level Two workshops (16 Guidelines Facilitation Training) which were very well received by the 40 participants, who are now planning many activities in the community over the coming years.

Alison also visited Australia's first Dharma School in Daylesford, Victoria.

In Sydney and Melbourne, Alison joined up with Pam Cayton of the EE Associate Programme Creating Compassionate Cultures to give some joint presentations. Pam then ran her first Australian training at a residential retreat centre in Daylesford. Many thanks to all the volunteers and supporters – too many to name – who made these tours and programmes possible. We were overwhelmed by the high level of interest shown in our work, and look forward to hearing how Essential Education is being put into action over the coming years.
