Share the 16 Guidelines
The philosophy of Universal Education for Compassion and Wisdom, of which the 16 Guidelines is a part, is based on the proposition that positive change in society starts with the individual.
The first step towards caring for others is to understand how best to care for ourselves. It then follows that the most productive way to share our understanding with others is through deepening and stabilizing this understanding in our own life and experience. The 16 Guidelines supports us to observe our own minds and actions so we can share the positive benefits and methods effectively with others: in our family, our community and in our professional work.
The 16 Guidelines and Four Wisdom Themes provide the foundation and framework to accomplish these objectives. The 16G app, book and online study kit offer an accessible and systematic approach to bring about positive change. The tools, activities and reflections introduced during the various levels of 16G workshops then build on this, allowing for an ongoing deepening and broadening of understanding and experience as participants progress.
At the same time you will have the opportunity to discover how building meaningful community offers you personal support as well as providing a forum for group activities and community projects. The 16G focus on community building has shown that our capacity and potential as individuals is enhanced when it is supported and nurtured in a community of like-minded individuals.
