Cherish others: Independence is a myth

For better and worse we are social creatures, reliant on others for survival. Our tendency to overlook the importance of even the most basic interaction is a major obstacle to happiness. But happiness is always within our reach. We can cultivate respect, forgiveness, gratitude and loyalty not just with our loved ones and family members, but with all people, even (especially!) people we find difficult.
