The Art and Science of Finding Your Happy: a first taste of the 16 Guidelines for Life in North Carolina

16 Guidelines events
28. Sep 2019 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

The 16 Guidelines workshop provides practical tools for a more meaningful, fulfilled life. The idea is simple: to change the way we experience the world, we transform the way we think, act, and relate to others to find meaning.

What to expect during this taster session

In this workshop, you will get a first taste of practical tools for making everyday life better. By noticing our patterns of thinking, speaking and acting, and understanding how our minds work through mindfulness and self-inquiry, we can find lasting fulfillment.

Equipped with better knowledge of ourselves we can break through our limiting beliefs, transform our relationships, make better decisions, and find peace of mind even on the most difficult of days. We can find our happy.

 Who is it for?

This taster is open to anyone aged 16 and up who wants to start to find happiness right here rather than out there.

Denise Flora , Denise has been creating materials and facilitating courses related to 16 Guidelines since 2008 and is the first accredited 16G facilitator resident in the United States. She finds the principles and framework of this method to be the source of many meaningful moments - in quiet reflection alone as well as in heart-felt discussions with family members, community members, and people all across the planet.

She is an author, music teacher and former engineer, so her home turf includes both the science and art of a meaningful life. For more, search The Rhythm of Virtue, Three Wishes for a Meaningful Life, Ready Set Happy, and
